OUR MISSION
Our 35-acre organic farm located in Kissimmee is dedicated to feeding the homeless, economically impoverished and elderly of Central Florida. 100% of the produce grown is delivered vine-ripened fresh to Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida.
ABOUT 1-800-CHARITY FARMS
1-800-Charity Farms is working to help build sound minds and bodies of those in need. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for the homeless, the economically impoverished and the elderly in Central Florida.
We supply fresh, vine-ripened produce farmed organically in a natural way with no pesticides to the existing system of free food distribution in Central Florida. This high-quality, vitamin-rich produce is delivered to the distribution center of Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida which currently serves an estimated 450 non-profit organizations.
The fresh, nutritious food grown by 1-800-Charity Farms is used by homeless shelters to provide healthy meals to the guests residing at their facilities, helping to upgrade the quality of service and care the shelters provide.
